The Molino

The guest accommodation at the Molino consists of a part of the original building restored as a home, along with, a short distance away, the cottage built on the site of the original millers house.

Paul and Dawn live in a separate part of the Molino, thus ensuring privacy for guests whilst still being close to hand if required.

The House

The main house has a farmhouse living room kitchen with traditional clay tiled floor and pitch pine fittings. Double doors lead to the terrace and garden area shaded by fig, orange and almond trees. The river is literally a few steps away.

Stairs lead from the living room to a spacious hall and landing area. There are two bedrooms, one of which can be divided by a screen, effectively making 3, sleeping up to 6 in comfort.

The bathroom is a masterpiece of Moroccan Tadelakht plaster work, created by craftsmen from Marrakech. There is also a linen/laundry room with washer and dryer.

The Cottage

A short path from the house leads to the cottage, which can also be accessed independently from the car parking area. The cottage has its own private garden and terraces leading down to the waters edge. There is a spacious living/sleeping area opening onto a terrace at the same level, perfect for dining. There is a well equipped kitchen. The shower/toilet room is in traditional Andalucian tile work. The cottage is normally set up to sleep a couple with one double bed. There is though, enough space for another single bed or two if required.
